Research Fellowship

CTDR-U Research Fellowship on Internet law & Society

We offer partnership and collaboration opportunities to academic institutions, researchers, policy think tanks and non-governmental institutions conducting research on the impact of internet law and policy on developing economies from a Ugandan/East African perspective.

We avail a platform and facilities/resources for fellows and researchers to travel to Uganda and we support their research projects with a dedicated team of Ugandan research assistants, legal and policy analysts, and create links with respondents and decision makers to aid desired outcomes for both Ugandan and international researchers.

Our fellowship program is well-positioned to become a leading center of excellence for industry thought leaders and regulators grappling with some of the most exciting issues of our time such as- the Fourth Industrial Revolution, the future of work and the gig economy, hyper connectivity, and the legal/regulatory implications arising from the merger of cyber-physical systems.
